Cardcloud turns LinkedIn profiles into online business cards

Cardcloud announces LinkedIn integration into their signup process, enabling new users to easily set up an online business card populated with information from their existing LinkedIn profile.

By starting the signup process with LinkedIn, Cardcloud generates an online business card containing the information visible on a LinkedIn profile. Information like the user's name, job title and even Twitter profile are integrated with the card within a few seconds.

After signing up, users can customize their online business card with a profile picture and company logo, and add over 80 online services to their liking. Additional cards can be created, and they can make use of Cardcloud's iPhone app or mobile browser app to share these cards within anyone. Cards can be shared simply by email, or from phone to phone. Card recipients do not need a Cardcloud account or application to be able to receive online business cards.

We've implemented LinkedIn's powerful API straight into the signup process, allowing users to create a card immediately. Deeper integration of the LinkedIn API is something we're looking forward to.
